Just watched a programme with Sir David Attenborough about Ida , apparently it's the Talus bone in her foot that links us to her , quite an amazing discovery this fossil .

One other thing about Ida they discovered looking at her bones is the poor thing had a broken wrist at some point in her life , you can even see the fracture and re-growth of bone on the fossil (monkey)

The fanfare and hype around this has been amazing. She's The Beatles of the fossil world. With all the creationist malarkey being tossed about recently science needed Something Big. And out pops Ida. Score: Evolution 1 God 0.  Lord be praised it's a miracle.
