Does anyone know of any video footage of the Elton John and John Lennon Madison Square Garden performance? There are tons of audio release's of this performance, but I have never seen video footage.

Unfortunatley none seems to exist of professional shot film. However someone at the concert could have 'snuck' a personal video camera in but that would probaly be of poor quality and such hasn't yet surfaced.

Thanks "Wall". There has to be some video somewhere of this show. You know the record companies would not just let this opportunity slip by with taping some of it

Whatever Gets You Through The Night, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds and I Saw Her Standing There - I think that was all. I can't remember the order they played them though!
Hope that helps

Elton was 7 years younger than John.

I have seen numerous pictures of John with Elton John back in 74 during sadly one of his last live performances along with the audio of that concert but I'm surprised there wasn't anybody smart enough to film this once in a lifetime rock & roll event.

it came about because john lost a bet that whatever gets you thru the night would fail to reach number one.
