Dear fellow Beatles fans,
I am just passing this along
there is a site heard about on the radio that is taking a public vote on the best rock band ever

But in the interests of fainess and science, it may be that more people consider The Rolling Stones a greater rock band than The Beatles. Crazy I know.
But - we can all vote, so all is well.
(If I owned that site I'd pretend to be people like Leven so I get could more hits. They're lucky he does it for nothing.)

I must admit to getting a bit fed up with people that just come here to promote themselves (I pressume that is Lenven's website), like Jim wotsit with his rather substandard impressions of Beatles songs yesterday. But hats off to Lenven, he's managed to generate a thread with 21 replies, in two days! Now, if he votes in the Song Survivor Game, I might cut him some slack!

just passing it along as I have never seen the actual "public" vote on a grand scale for this category. I even heard a promo on the radio for it today.
the only "polls" I have seen are the ones on VH1 and that's not from the fans so they are useless.

Just because I'm a Beatles fan doesn't mean I don't like other music! I'm guessing you're quite young, and have only just discovered The Beatles. That's great, good on you. But you're clearly only on this forum to push that poll, and not to contribute anywhere else. Fine, you've not been rude or offensive to anyone, so post away. But your over the top enthusiasm for a meaningless poll is the reason I voted for Led Zep!
By the way, there are one or two people on here to which The Beatles are NOT their favourite band.

Remember American Idol and Sanjaya? These are the folks who kept him in as long as they did. I'm not so sure if they don't have the right idea in this case. votenumber1 is full of meaningless polls that make no sense and with tons of advertising. Guess we are just making money for the site owner.
