I just went to wal-mart last night, and at the entrance, I saw a sign showing the release of the album. It showed a different cover, jsut a simple picture with a plaing white background of Paul with a guitar.

Maybe the regular version has a different cover... The special edition has a dark red/brownish slipcase with just the title and 'Paul McCartney' in silver, but the cover in the jewelcase is the picture above.

Just in case some of you didn't notice yet: if you turn "Paul McCartney" upside down, it still says "Paul McCartney". :)

I really hate the 'copy controlled' crap... This album for instance has a part of the front cover, a part of the slipcase, a big part of the back cover and a part of the backside of the booklet reserved for information about that copy control system... Is that really necassary? It ruins the whole artwork... I would never accept that on a CD of mine...

Just wanted to say that Nigel Godrich is a f***ing genius. The album sounds marvellous on headphones.

I got Chaos last night, finally. It says in side that the front cover picture was taken by Paul's brother, Mike.

Wild Life seemed to be the worst McCartney album to me for a long time. But that has changed, today I'm discovering that LP in a new way, so I think, McCartney II is his worst for me at the moment. There's only one good song on it : Waterfalls. The rest is nice homerecording-experimental-s**t. I like the live-version of Coming Up on the B-side of the single, but the album version is horrible.

Really sad about that ... so you don't like On the Way, Nobody Knows or One of These Days  :-/
Wild Life is (very) interesting ... a musical party ...

Did you know that the album was going to be called "The Last" (don't know if it was said as a joke)?. That's what Paul said in an old radio interview while he was working on it.
