Do I have a rarity or does everybody else have this? On the stereo version of Magical Mystery Tour the label says that the Let It Be minidocumentary is included.

I haven't gotten it yet, but apparently it's just a misprint and that the CD includes the correct documentary. :)
-
Mine says it too Bobber does this mean we have a collectable CD ? is it going to make me some money or are there millions of others like it ?
-
Well, at least there's two of us now. lol
-
Make that three. I have a feeling this is a first printing error. Thousands out there.
-
I have it too. You may have just found the first of many misprints in the box. Anyone else find anything else?
-
My White album copy hasn't the mini-documentary or I can't find it at least! Anybody's happen the same?
-
It is probably fortunate, because we would someday be inclined to sell them, that there are a lot of copies out there with this mistake.
But then again, we could make enough money to buy another one...
I kind of decided years ago, I wasn't really into The Beatles to sell stuff. I am into it because I love their music.
It is all very paradoxical though.

Bobber....it must be a standard, global misprint; my UK copy has the same error!
Whether it has been corrected since the first issue (I bought my set on the day of release-like most of us probably!), I wouldn't know.
My understanding is that the US release were made in Japan, whillst the UK (and European) copies were made in Germany. They must all use standard artwork, with certain localisations added later; I notice yours has the Capitol logo, wheeas mine has nothing in that spot.
Odd that nobody saw it or thought to correct it before the release date.
Cheers,
Steve.

But I think that in future editions they fix it. I buy my copy with the mistake. In 30 years, when ours children or grandchildren post in a forum on internet 9.0 they ask if anyone got the misprint MMT cd!!!

Call me selfish, but I won't be making any money out of that! ha2ha

I don't wanna make money, I just wanna have a "future" rarity

I don't care about rarities usually, unless I have them and know that they're worth a fortune.

Mine says "Magical Mystery Tour Mini-Doctumentary" :)

Aha! I will start counting now. lol

I got the misprint! ;yes Stereo, individual CD (not part of the box set), bought in Canada.

My Rubber Soul case is misprinted. There's a picture of The Beatles doing something or other on the inside, on the center and right panels. However, the pictures on the center and right panels are switched, so that the left half of the image is on the right and vice versa. I noticed this because I can see the white sort-of-like-a-semicircle on the center panel which they would normally cut out so you could get the CD out.
Also, my copy of the A Hard Day's Night booklet is printed all out of order.
Also, my copy of The Beatles didn't include the poster! >:(
Among many other problems.
I don't think any of these misprints will be valuable, because it seems like the entire production and manufacturing process of the packaging was done incredibly sloppily.

Weird. You'd think that for a major project like this, they'd have everything checked for errors a dozen times by a dozen different people. Apparently not.
