I listened to My Bonnie lately, and was wondering who the magnificent bass-vocal is singing in the background? Does anybody know?

I must say it is a very low voice, sung with great power and intensity. Being a great singer, Paul might have worked it out. But then, his voice is much more a tenor than a bass. I don't know about other people involved besides Tony Sheridan and The Beatles.

Roy Young has maybe the later version making, but not the 1961 Version.

Yes, I know that sheet as well. Still, listening to You'll Be Mine on Anthology 1, I know John can produce a nice bass voice. Don't know anything about Roy Young on this one. Can somebody make that clear?

Tony Sheridan: electric lead&rhytm guitar/leadvocal
John Lennon: backing vocal&handclapping
Paul McCartney: electric Bass/backing vocal&shouting in the back
George Harrison: electric lead&rhythm guitar
Pete Best: Drums


Roy Young played with Ton Sheridan later as Tony Sheridan and The Beat Brother(Not The Beatles).
