Let It Be-I don't consider it a concert documentary like the Stones classic Gimme Shelter except for the rooftop performance at the end which is great.
-
The Kids are Alright for me, hilarious and has great music. The Last Waltz is second

Same here.
I voted 'other'.......U2's Rattle and Hum is hard to top.
-
now that is a good call Rowdy, i just luv the Rattle and Hum video, i think i have lost count on how many times i have watched that, IMO great viewing everytime !
-
Last Waltz.
Saw it 7 times (these were the days before video remember)
I think Talking Heads Stop Making Sense should be there somewhere
-
I can't pick anyone over the Beatles!! Let It Be is a concert video as much as TKAA is! They have some talking, but mostly they're playing. TKAA would be my next choice.
-
Let it be is a Doku not a concert
-
I know, I said it's as much a concert film as TKAA is. Which isn't at all. But at least it has a concert in it. Just not a typical concert. Sort of a mini concert without an audience.
-
both be only doku not concert movies
-
It was a bad topic wording. Pick your favorite of these movies or write other. It doesnt matter if theyre documentary or concert
-
Right!
-
Kids Are Alright!!! im watching it at the moment
-
The Last Waltz. Just watched it again last night.
-
Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii RULES!! (I always have it in my DVD player!)
The Kids are Alright
The Who-Who's Better Who's Best (Awesome! Just has a BUNCH of Who videos)
I know they're not all 'concert' films, but they're awesome anyway!!!! Especially Pompeii.

Woodstock
-
Joplin bores you?
-
NO! I was gonna put her but I was thinking, was she there or was that Monterey? I guess she was at both. No, I love her. Not boring at all!!
-
Oh, and Joe Cocker's With a Little Help From My Friends is cool.
-
Richie havens, Ravi Shankar, Joan Baez, Santana, Grateful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, Sly and Fanily Stone, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Joe Cocker, The Band, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, and Jimi Hendrix are bands that dont bore me at Woodstock
-
Sly and the Family Stone are okay. The Band?? They're not there. It would have been cool if they were. With Bob Dylan and all. Instead Joan Baez is singing his songs.
-
The Band was there
-
It's not listed on my DVD and I don't remember them. What'd they do? I'll have to take a second look.
-

look there, I think in Day 2
-
You're right! Then why are they NOT on my DVD???
-
Plus the Who did a whole mess of songs not on the DVD. I want the uncut version. If one exists. The one I have sucks then. I love the BAND!!
-
I love the Band too!!! I was just watching The Last Waltz today
-
I've watched that a million times! I love it. But that was at the end of thier time together. At Woodstock, it would be more towards the beginning.(middle?) I HAVE to see that!!!!! I wonder if it's on any Woodstock dvd or if they just left it out??
-
hey sandra if you do a post aafter mine, our quotes are excellent
-
And all you touch and all you see Is all your life will ever beeeeee!
-
^ Sounds a bit like some mighty Floyd lyrics there. ;) hehe!
-
I like that. The Mighty Floyd. Maybe I'll go put that in the good band names thread. ;)
-
Sounds like a cartoon to me
-
Like Mighty Mouse. Ah well. Half the band names nowadays though are incredibly wierd. Which is why I can't remember half of them. That and they all sound alike.
-
"The Beatles at Shea"; "Rush in Rio"; "Keith Richards and the Xpensive Winos at the Palladium"--I'm sorry but Keef is God.
