Watch it buddy, I'm half Scottish you know.

Anyway, my friend's 18 year old brother has been going football crazy lately. This always happens around the World Cup, she says, but this year the poor dear has lost all fashion sense AND dignity.

Amazing what a sport can do to some people.

I have a Scottish friend (well, his Dad is English and his Mum is Irish but he's Scottish) and he wears an England shirt. I said to him: "You've got some nerve wearing that shirt and sounding like that". Which is true. One of my other friends is English and he got beaten up because he wore a Brazil shirt.

That was the first time I ever saw a player get three yellow cards in one match...

And Guus Hiddink is amazing. First he takes Holland to the semi finals, then the Korean Republic to the semi finals, and now Australia at least to the second round.

And if Guus manages to beat Italy, I'm willing to recognize him as more than human.

englands got to stop the 4-5-1.  it didnt work for the US and its not working for them.  Rooney was double covered 90% of the time he recieved the ball.  Good thing Beckham is awesome

Apart from the free kick I don't reckon Beckham played that well....all world cup as it goes whereas Lennon seems to create some energy and options.

Still, we have managed to get this far by playing not well, so hopefully we got something left to show.

I bet it was a great match last night for all the non-Dutch football fans... 16 Yellow and 4 red cards, it sure was an entertaining match, it just had the wrong winner.

Well... At least we've still got Guus. Let's hope his team will kick Italy's ass tonight.

And for Saturday: GO ENGLAND!

The referees are really ruining the tournament. First Poll completely lost it, then a red & yellow card record yesterday and now Australia has been send home by a referee. Something's gotta change.

Well if England get into gear and start actually playing football we'll win it. We're in the quaters without playing half as well as we know we can.
