The Ronettes are probably my favourite band after the Beatles. I wish I was as cool as Ronnie.

Estelle Bennett died recently. May she RIP.

I remember reading something about this, very sad, she fell through the cracks and died pretty much homeless and penniless if I recall. (cry)

This has been Brian Wilson's favorite song ever since it came out.

The Beach Boys' sound engineer once said that Brian asked him to make a tape loop of the chorus of "Be My Baby" and play it over the speakers at maximum volume. The engineer then left to go do something else. When he came back about 5 hours later, Brian was still in his chair and the tape loop was still playing at maximum volume...
