I can imagine him crying and in real misery at the end of the take (not only as a metaphore). My Mummy's Dead is very sad but not as emotional.

Mother ... in this song i kinda felt so thankful that i have a mother

but somehow John made me feel that he really missed his mother... just like how he screamed and i also watched the music video i felt empathy .

Yes.^ You can almost feel the emotions of John's in that song. I'm not sure if it has the same amount of 'emotion from experience', per se, I don't think Girl is about a particular girl. In Mother, I almost feel like I'm intruding on something private...almost the feeling of walking in on your parents having sex...to give you an approxomate.
