A high school in my province recently banned a group of Grade 11 English students from going to see a production of To Kill a Mockingbird, because apparently they thought some of the minority students would be offended by the use of the n-word. Hello?! The whole thing is anti-racism! They obviously must not have read the book or seen the play.
The school system is seriosuly messed up.
