Escape to "Texasee"
« on: October 01, 2008, 06:10:56 PM »

My new CD "Texasee" is now officially released on Phoebe Claire Records.

The GRAMMY-nominated album walks the razor's edge between imagination and reality, sin and redemption, in a mythical America somewhere between Austin and Nashville.

It's mainly acoustic with a little "sling-blade" thrown in.  The song "Paul is Dead" is on the album and well as my own "Here Today" in which John Lennon appears in a Hostess fruit pie (not a flaming pie, unfortunately).

There's also a witty and informative press release with the incredibly
interesting "back-story" at http://www.prweb.com/releases/lukepowers/texasee/prweb1410544.htm.

Take a look and please pass along to your friends and relatives.

I'm mailing out review copies, so let me know if anyone is interested.

Yrs,

Lp

Always interested in a copy, even tho I won't review it officially. But it's just to finish that 'DM Members CD' once. All the best with the cd.
