I think Helter Skelter is one of Paul's great hard rock masterpieces during his Beatles days which gets overshadowed by the Manson murders sadly & Blackbird is superior to Yesterday any day of the week personally speaking.

I want to but I can't pick. Real hard. Quality stufff all round. I believe Macca was quite influenced by the likes of Burt Jansch and Donovan in certain picking styles during this time. Then he rocks it out in true 'The Who' style on Helter Skelter.
Love both energies. Always depends on the listening mood and/or occasion.
