Aunt Mimi bought John his first guitar and didn't like the idea of his pursuing a career in show business. She told him, "The guitar's all right for a hobby, but it won;t earn you any money." When John hit it big, he had a silver plaque engraved with that quote and presented it to her.

The first four Beatles releases have "you" or "me" in the title. It was done deliberately to help the group form a more personal connection to its fan base.
