I always skip it.  I would never think of calling it a classic George song -- I felt this and Cry Baby Cry dragged and bored me.

Cry Baby Cry is an awesome track!!! One of my White Album favourites!!

I always felt that that album had a particular air that no other album of theirs has. For me it has a kinda sinister spooky feel. Probably because of the many songs about death, guns and revolution. And Long Long Long is pretty creepy too - especially that ending! I like it a lot!

I didn't like this song too much at first, but it grew on me and now I love it.

You can hear a bottle rattling on top of an amp at the end.

You got that right Al. Cry Baby Cry is easily one of the best tunes on the entire album.

As for Long Long Long, I love it. I've always liked it and I feel that its one of Georges better songs vocal wise. You can feel the emotion. Now, if only they would have bumped up the volume on the production side. Plays way to soft for me. I have to crank it on the radio to hear it.

I think George wanted it to sound like a mantra in his voice, at least in the intro.

Its my favourite song of the C side, of the album,... of George with the guys,... of George. I like drums from Ringo and my favourite moment is the piano part (played by John?).

Not one of his best. But thoughtful and moody.

I rate this song highly actually and it is a great moment on the album too, especially were it was placed in the tracklist.

It's a shame that our american mates couldn't listen to them with the same tracklist (till Pepper's, so they only do in 6 of the 13 - counting Magical Mystery Tour)

That's exactly MY problem with the song.  I had it on a mix CD, and while listening to the CD in the car, I thought my stereo turned off for some reason.  When I looked, it was still playing, and when I raised the volume, I was like, "what IS this??"

Anyway, that song is "bad" until they come out with a remastered White Album.  Frankly, its the worst when it comes to volume range, compared to all the other Beatles albums.
