Peter Jackson to direct a Beatles film

Anyone else watch the Rooftop performance more than once?  ;yes

so far I am at:
- part I once
- part II once
- part III twice completely plus rooftop (paul arrives on roof starting at 1 hour 25 minutes into part iii) 2 additional times so far

Yes I heard Peter Jackson talking about the audio restoration. Apparently the flower pot scene required a lot of work to make it audible above the background noise.

I was impressed with the quality of that audio, for various reasons (e.g., placement, age of recording, background noise).

But they eventually developed their own system which they dubbed MAL. Stands for machine assisted learning but also a conscious tribute to Mal Evans. Which I think is great.

I think that's great, too. And I'm wary of straying off topic here, but I just read this on Wikipedia (so, a grain or two of salt is needed) last night: "In December 2021 it was reported that a biography of Evans, written by Beatles scholar Kenneth Womack, was to be published by HarperCollins' Day Street [imprint] in 2023, followed the next year by material from Evans' diary and archives." Something to look forward to.

I'm hoping they will rethink the release since it's being delayed. There was going to be no additional material, just what was on Disney.

Maybe they might even do the renovation on the original Let it Be film to add into a dvd package.

Interestingly, this lady has collated all the extra non Beatle songs they sang/played throughout, I think it got to 46 of them. I enjoyed a lot of these

Just rewatched and I have to say that I think this is the best thing I've ever watched. I'm totally besotted with it.

I love many movies and documentary type things but this is my favourite. The hour's go by so quickly
