Here's the solo track I think sounds most like The Beatles - "I Don't Believe You" from Time Takes Time:

I DonĀ“t believe you - Ringo Starr

Here's a brilliant track lyrically (at least in this counselor's opinion) and an overall solid track - "Weight of the World" from Time Takes Time:

Ringo Starr - Weight of the world

Probably my favorite track by him ever.

"I Wanna Be Santa Claus" is truly horrific

It really is isn't it.  I tried to fool and force myself into liking it, but I cant.  I break it out every year thinking it'll be better, but it never seems to.   ha2ha

I'd just as soon listen to something else by Ringo, unless it's that Power Puff Girls thing he did. I find that really hard to take!

Power Puff Girl thing?

"I Wish I Was a Powerpuff Girl"

http://youtu.be/54C7Ev-REkw

Apparently Ringo did a guest appearance on a Powerpuff Girls special last January and this song was part of that. I suppose the video is kind of funny but when I hear the song played on Breakfast With The Beatles I always skip it. I'd just rather hear something else!

I dont actually like Ringo's style of music or his singing, I just dont find pleasure in listening to him, therefor Ive never even heard a Ringo album, only his singles.

Same here. I just can't get into his music, other than "Photograph" & "It Don't Come Easy"!

"Your Sixteen", "No No Song" & "Back Of Boogaloo" are listenable!  ;sorry

Strange, quietly desperate people, like myself, buy Ringo's albums.  We require the seemingly undisturbed peaceful state that a gleeful nonchalant stage performer such Ringo Starr exudes.  When we are in Ringo's company, we are undersea beneath the waves in the Octopus's Garden in the shade.  We could be so happy, you and me, if we could remain there.  Once we were fish, then we found land.  Then one day, we realized that we are all water.  When I realized this, I migrated straightforward to Ringo's Garden and have been them ever since.  Can you hear my bubbles?
