The Beatles Anthology

I have read millions & millions of Beatles books ever since I was about 12 years old way back in 76, I have to say it's a waste of money to begin with because all you're getting is the same story with a different spin, I read the Rolling Stone Tribute To George Harrison, a Ringo Starr biography & the hard cover Beatles Anthology which I got at the library, I got The Beatles Anthology for under $30 about a year ago at a famous low price store that I look at when I'm eating & using the bathroom, which is great.

I hope you're not eating at the same time you're using the bathroom!

I plan on reading the Beatles book by Pete Best when I see it at the library along with those other Beatles books that have just been released.

I found that book at the library and I borrowed it. I haven't had a chance to read it (I plan to wait till I can actually buy it for myself) but I did take time to look at every one of the pictures. I enjoyed the ones from when they were in Hamburg, the part with John in his underwear outside the kino was pretty great. Oh I guess I did read the part about them burning the condom on the wall, that was entertaining.

When I bought the book I thought it would contain something different from the Anthology videos, but it's more or less the same. As all of you have said, although I've read it in full, the most interesting thing is the rare pictures, some of them, unreleased before the Anthology book

I bought it for $19.64 at Barnes&Nobel. Since it has been 40 years since they came to America. (hence the cost 1964)

Anthology is a good book, with a fresh personal insight, and some rare images.
I really like the art design of the book, and the layout is very simple.
Its a must-read for any Beatle fan.

To me, it was a must have.
And it's heavy yeah, but I think if it was thin we'd feel like we were getting ripped off.
It's my favorite Beatles book!
LOVE the pictures!!!
