Macca on telly and radio
« on: October 03, 2007, 10:00:02 AM »

He was on T4 Sunday teaching a presenter how to play d minor. Only caught the end of it, but Paul seemed in good form. He was telling the presenter what a terrible student he was. Might be on Youtube.
He was on Radio 4 this morning, talking (briefly) about the mellatrone and Strawberry Fields - the people that made the originals are now starting production again, as opposed to rennovating old models. Might be on BBC Radio 4 website.

Mellotron's used to go out of tune really quickly didn't they? Depending on the weather, humidity etc. Maybe the new one's won't do that. Personally I can't stand the sound of them on most records, anymore. A Fender Rhodes on the other hand...

Macca does seem to be having fun at the moment. He should put together a proper tour of smaller venues.
