Title: Beatles RUle
Post by: Herecomesyoursun on October 25, 2004, 08:52:31 PM
I was watching a countdown on E! and the number 1 moment in Entertainment history was when the Beatles came to America.  It was as voted by America, nd they deserve it.  Excellent.  John's death also was the most shocking moment in rock and roll according to VH1.  I was very bored yesterday.

I was watching icons on VH1 or something, and Morrisey was first, with Lennon Second?
...and Elvis was no where to be seen...?

I would love to know how they come up with the results.

I've seen it twice. I can't even remember the other shocking moments. Well, except for the kids getting trampled at a Who concert and Kurt Cobain. Was Elvis on the list? I remember being shocked at his death. My aunt was devastated!!

Yes, Elvis was on it twice. Him meeting Richard Nixon and his death were on it.
