Beatles version for sure.  Georges guitar playing on both tracks are excellent.  I have heard the Lennon demos of both songs and I think the Threetles really did justice to the songs.  I only wish they finished more.  The only problem I have is that there were better demos of Real Love and Free As A Bird to work with but were not given or found at the time of the "reunion" sessions.

the Beatles for sure . Johns demos were great, but  having the other three on it gave it more of a "Beatles" sound to me(rocknroll)

I Loved the Beatles as much as anyone. I still do.

I have mixed feelings about whether those 2 songs can truly be considered 'Beatle Songs'

To be Blunt, and possibly offensive ( not intentional, just being honest)

I didn't like either song.   It wasn't the Beatles. It was a nice gesture, and all that.

But it doesn't sound like the Beatles.

The Beatles were a done deal in early 1970.

Stilll, I find no fault or Issue with having finished that rough demo.   I truly believe everyone meant well, but it simply wasn't the Beatles, and didn't sound like the Beatles

yeah, it was nice. But there is a point that is being overlooked. John wasn't a 'Beatle' at that time in his life.

They weren't Beatle songs. ya know?  And they weren't in the same league as the songs John released as John.

Oh well, why argue? I miss them all.............
