Definitely an awesome group. I never get tired of Parallel Lines, and Eat to the Beat is a good album as well.

The only thing: she shouldn`t have returned to the scene. The difference is striking...

I love Blondie too. Saw them last year and got to go backstage for some photos and BS'ing. Good stuff and great show. Love Clem Burke's drumming.

^^^^ Agree she was sexy but it was'nt blatant like Madonna is or any of the other sex kittens who have made a career out of shaking their booties .
She was more glamour i would say ?
She was'nt much of a dancer , but she knew how to work the camera ,flashing an alluring look direct to you, very much like a movie star in that respect ?
When i first saw her back in the 70's doing "Denis" on Top Of The Pops i remember been transfixed not only by her looks but also by her voice , which is also very sexy .

Think Clem Burke's drumming is the key to their sound he drives everything along , he's a very dynamic player after Debbie you watch him , is he rated as a world class drummer ?

Do you think she was to old for the groups comeback in 1999 Jane ?
I thought at 53 she still looked pretty good and still sounded great on Maria .
I never thought David Bowie or Mick Jagger should'nt be still rocking in there 50's , should it be different for an older women ?

Older Mick Jagger does'nt look this good ?
I would'nt kick Debbie out of bed for been 53 , yes she was older when they came back in the late 90's but she still looked pretty foxy to me , and that voice was still amazing ?

Love this song, probably one of my favourite Blondie tunes actually. It has that Spector sound but with really clever lyrics. I always wondered why it didn't get more recognition.

It`s OK for men to rock at any age. But for a woman, who is 50 and looks 50, it doesn`t seem very elegant and appropriate to rock. Maybe if she were slim the sight would be more becoming. However she has lost some weight lately, if I am not mistaken. Which is good.
But it is absolutely ok for a woman to be a solo singer at any age. Like Lulu and older girls. That is what I think.

^^^^ Thats a bit of a blinkered view Jane , so she as a little bit of weight on her bones give me a curvy women anyday .
I think one word i would describe Debbie as is elegant she as always had a lot of class about her ?
Here she is at 59 year old looking a million dollar's , think people also forget that she was no spring chicken when they first hit the big time in the 70's ,she was pushing 33 then quite old for your first hit record , so she's always broken  taboos around age , which i personally think is a good thing ?

You know better, DaveRam. It is for men to judge women. Men do it better. Women are usually too critical of women. But when she was young she was one of the most beautiful girls, to my mind.

Rapture, be pure
Take a tour, through the sewer
Don't strain your brain, paint a train
You'll be singin' in the rain
I said don't stop, do punk rock

No, Debbie! Please, if you still want to sing, then sing Sinatra songs or something like that.
