I didn't think 28 Days Later was scary at all. Everyone says it's the scariest movie since the Exorcist, but there was nothing scary about it.
Anyhow, I think now I would have to put Almost Famous on my list.
The Lord of the Rings
Star Wars
Almost Famous
Don't know what I would put in the other 2 spots right now.

I didn't say I thought it was a bad movie. On the contrary, I did enjoy it. But I don't understand why people think it's one of the scariest movies ever made. I suppose it is possibly one of the most realistic and believable horror films ever made, until the end when Jim goes all crazy and whipes out the whole post of soldiers by himself.

The Exorcist is still the scariest movie ever to me. When it came back into theaters a couple of years ago I went with a friend who had never seen it and she laughed at it! She thought it was stupid!!! I don't know, that demon voice STILL creeps me out! I cannot watch it when I'm alone. No way. The Omen was pretty scary too. Anyone see that? The music is aweful!
Favorite Five: (This is HARD)
Jaws (I've seen it a million times)
The Philadelphia Story (not the Tom Hanks flick!)
The Godfather 1 and 2
The Goodbye Girl
Holy Grail
OR!!
Dog Day Afternoon (Anyone know the opening song by EJ? I love it!)
Grease (
)
Annie Hall
The Odd Couple
Goodfellas
The King of Comedy- "MAA!!"

(although Id like to know why it is called that)...
In a Documentary...Tarantino explains that its left up to the viewer to pull out any meaning..
A few explanations...
e.g. ...Mr.Orange is the rat.. and Rats could be called Reservoir Dogs* .. etc.

I'm always changing my mind. I forgot to put This is Spinal Tap and Some Like It Hot on that list, as well as The Shawshank Redemption. Damn, I can't pick just five. I'm so indecisive.
