Lennon Legacy bus makes a stop in Aurora
AURORA — Some might call it a ditch day, but to mom Kimberly Balitewicz, Friday was anything but that.Balitewicz and her sons, Frank, 13, and Jim, 16, made the hour-and-15-minute drive to Aurora from their home in Hammond, Ind. — instead of to school — Friday morning to visit the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus during its stop at North River Street Park.“As far as I’m concerned, this is very educational,” Balitewicz said. “John Lennon is one of (my boys’) inspirations.”
