Kevin:
Talking about the trumpets on Loves Forever Changes got me thinking about those moments in songs that really get you, the bits you listen out for no matter how much you've heard the song.
For me, Beatlewise, its:
-the Blisters on my fingers ending of Helter Skelter. Unforgettable.
-going into the 3rd verse of A Day in the Life, after the 1st big "thingy"
-when the guitars crash in on the main part of Band on the Run
-the 1st na na nas on Hey jude

oops-I meant after Paul's refrain
ps-I hate the way he emphasises tthe word "smoke"-not very subtle

Lenny Pane:
I dig a Pygmy by Charles Hawtrey and the Deaf Aids... Phase One in which Doris gets her oats...

i think thats what you mean eh kev ?

:
-the '' blisters on my fingers '' on helter skelter definetaly...
-the intro on revolution, with the scream...amazing
- na na na's on hey jude are great too...

I really like the emphasis, almost highlighting the comfortbale situation being a Beatle affords.
