An inexpensive camera I recommend..
« on: November 07, 2013, 10:23:53 PM »

I bought the new(ish) Canon SX280 HS last week and Im mightily impressed with it, it cost a mere $380 so should be less than 200 quid in the UK, it has a 20 X Optical Zoom, big for a compact and the zoom works well, Ive had a few compacts but this is by far the best.
Went for a walk with it yesterday and took loads of shots Ive posted a couple so you can judge yourself.....Camera's are so good for the money these days, this has too many features to list (including wi-fi)
All taken on manual mode btw...I dont do auto :)

That does take great pictures Kevin. I have a Canon SX 20IS. It's a few years old but it takes really nice pictures; much better than the digital camera we have at work.

Mine's definitely not pocket-sized, unless you're talking about a roo pocket!
