Title: Yellow Submarine Book

They are turning The Yellow Sub movie into a children's book. The release of the DVD did so well that they decided to do the book. I've alreay ordered it on Amazon to read to my first graders. I recently showed them the movie and they LOVED it!! They keep asking to watch it again and again. It always amazes me how fresh the Beatles stay generation after generation.  I wonder if it'll ever happen again with another band.

no i do not think so.thats a tall order.my kids are 3,5 and 9 they love the beatles.love is what the beatles were all about in the begining then things got complicated.

I don't think there will ever be a band that will revolutionise music in the way The Beatles did, but I would love for that to happen in my lifetime, just to be able to be there when it happened!

I'm going to buy a copy for myself as well as for all my little cousins. My mom says I'm turning them all into "biased little baby beatlemaniacs" but I don't care. :P

When first hearing about it, I thought it was a shameless Cash in.
Ever noticed how shallow the official Beatles Website is??..
Instead of it being a showcase for the new 'Money-Making' schemes, it should include in-depth stories and information..and not just the 'No 1's' ..

I changed my opinion on The Yellow Submarine book, as the original song was aimed at Children, and so it makes a great new avenue in the context of the aims.

Well, I got the book and it's okay. They cut out a lot of the plot that's for sure! But it's a good little primer for the movie. Anyway, I know my first graders will love it! And then I'll show them the movie, which they'll love more!! The music is the thing. The only problem is I can't read it with and English accent! It just doesn't sound right the Beatles speaking like an American! Oh well. :D
