The most insipid and moronic article I ever read
« on: September 04, 2004, 03:27:58 PM »

Quote
1. Paul McCartney Barely qualified to carry John Lennon's roach clip while both toiled with a grotesquely overrated boy band known as the Beatles, Sir Paul's true colors have reverberated loudly and horribly since Mark David Chapman put a tragic slug in Yoko's hubby. "Band on the Run" could have been written by a third grader, and McCartney's duets with alleged pedophile Michael Jackson -- and the ensuing public p*ssing match over Wacko Jacko's savvy purchase of the Beatles' catalogue -- cemented McCartney's legacy of poor taste and idiocy. And wasn't it great when Sir Paul, sharing the stage with Madonna at the close of the 1999 MTV Music Awards, thought Lauryn Hill was a man, referring to the artist of the year as "some guy named Lawrence Hill?" Nice one, a**hole. Worst of all, who can forget the post-9/11 ode to freedom named, with typical genius, "Freedom"? Marrying a young, blond, one-legged starf***er twelve hours after burying your hero-philanthropist wife was a good one too, mate. Go f*** yourself, McCartney. You deserve worse than that, but such dread is unattainable on this earth. We can only hope Satan delivers the goods to Sir Paul in Hell, where knighthoods carry no currency.

OK, the MTV music awards was darn funny...but anyway let us not forget he wrote good songs like 'Yesterday' and such. And look at the lyrics of 'Band On The Run': "The rain exploded with a mighty crash as we fell into the sun". Even a third grader couldn't have written that.

And what was he doing with Madonna!!? Any respectable rock star should just stay the hell AWAY from anything MTV related. It just can never turn out good.

Firstly, I realise this cannot be classed as an article, for giving such a profesional term in the journalist world would only boost a 12-year olds ego.
The hollow wave of abuse really does change into an absurd indulgence of petty school-yard grief, again unmasking or rather suggesting a lack of normal maturity.
predictable.. cliché .. insignificant....  just a few words that perfectly sum up Mike Seeley's word game* ( or a lexical illustration of dear old Mikes Life) ..either choice will do. Infact, why not both.
We all know we could sit and pull segment after segment of this charade apart, but like Mister Charlie said "Not even worth getting heated up about".

Dear me, such stringed sentences serve as a harsh reminder that the Internet offers the sad showcase for complete idiots.

I remember the MTV awards (I wasn't a Beatles fan yet) and my brother and I laughed about the "Lawrence Hill" thing. I was little and unknowing!

The more you read, the more you find yourself gripping the keyboard..until the P*key or something will finally fall off.

There used to be a great way to stick it to the man, and we called it rock and roll.  But then MTV came along and f***ed that up- Jack Black

I wrote the guy this: Both John Lennon and Paul McCartney
were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame TWICE. I'd like to
see you make that accomplishment. Have a nice day, and long live Paul!
