My favorite tracks are London Town (a beautiful stoned song), I'm Carrying (oh that melody!), With A Little Luck (because it means alot to me), Deliver Your Children (contains advice for "dealers" not to cross Macca, lol), Don't Let It Bring You Down (a beautiful melody and sentiment, and probably Macca's best singing ever), Morse Moose And The Grey Goose (a crazy kind of happening song).

So yeah, I like it.

Don't Let it Bring You Down!

I forgot to list that one as a favorite.

Thanks for reminding me. I'm old and forgetful.

I'm Carrying was one of the Paul's songs that George said liked it ... but it's not one of my favourite ones from the album.

'Cafe On The Left Bank' is probably my favorite with 'Girl's School' (bonus track I know) being second. Of course, I like the album a lot, but its not in my top five.

Not in my top 5, too. With Back To The Egg and Wild Life the weakest Paul's albums of the 70s.

I like some songs, indeed, but there are others that I ... hate? Can I say hate when I'm talking about Paul's music: that's a blasphemy!  ;D
When I listen to it I try to be in good mood but at the end I can't ...simply I can't ... I prefer McCartney II (another blasphemy!)  ;D

ME! I love Back to the Egg! I remember seeing them perform Old Siam, Sir on tv and I just HAD to go out and buy the album. Yes, on vinyl! I remember seeing the 'sunny side up' egg on one side and the 'over easy' egg on the other side and thought that was so clever!

And then I saw the special on tv. It was fascinating to me because I was just a kid and I couldn't figure out the cover of the album until I saw them do it on tv, roll back the rug on the floor and look through the 'window' to outer space!

My faves are:

Old Siam, Sir
To You
After the Ball/Million Miles
Spin It On
So Glad to See You Here

Back To The Egg and London Town are both beautiful albums. Got them both on vinyl and still listen to them a lot. Paul's seventies stuff is great.

'Old Siam Sir' is one of my faves too. I had it on a 45 when I was young. 'Getting Closer' is probably my favorite off of BTTE, but you'll have to excuse me because i'm a drummer and that tunes fun to play.

"I'm Carrying" is one of Paul's greatest ballads ever, period.

I played this album for the first time in years when I purchased it on CD. I was really surprised how good it was - and how folky! It has quite a few traditional-sounding northern folk songs on it - such as Deliver Your Children and Famous Groupies. Nice LP - great poster with the original as well!

It think the worst Wings/Macca effort has to be Wildlife - I have only played it once... ever!
