Thank-you, ladies! That was some nor'easter! Lots of flooding down the shore but just lots of snow and drifting here. Local roads weren't cleared until last night. I heard this was the second largest snowstorm since records were first kept. I'm sure it doesn't compare to lake effect snow, Kelley, and what you get up there, Kathleen.

We actually have not had a real blizzard since about 2013. Temps on Friday are supposed to be near 40. So odd for this area!

I enjoyed reading about the Brian Sisters when you posted a video of them in the Andrews Sisters thread. They were said to have enjoyed radio performances more than this type of thing because they hated wearing those glasses! This was where that look got started.

It can be pretty bad Barry but the "south towns", nearer to Buffalo, usually get the worst of it. We're typically just on the edge and it's funny with that because it can be snowing like crazy one minute then be clear and sunny the next and then back to snow. But I should knock on the nearest piece of wood because sometimes it does get us like it did in this picture I posted before.

I just put one out this Sunday! After a morning of chores I laid down on the grass with Greta Bear and snoozed for an hour and actually got a minor sunburn along my hair line! Not bad for early March!

I've been wondering how Greta Bear's been doing! Have you seen any ticks on her during this mild winter? I expected them to hang around but luckily no one has had any hitchhikers.

Greta's just fine. No ticks so far this year. I'm hoping the mild weather has allowed the birds to eat more of them than usual. I can wish I suppose!

After aneasy winter we're supposed to get a nor'easter on Sunday-Monday with the possibility of up to a foot of snow by the coast.

Greta is so pretty! Her coloring reminds me of my German Shepherd. I hope they've got that wrong about an Easter nor'easter. I can remember one Easter that was so warm I went swimming. Probably not this year though. LOL
