Top 10 albums of 2008

The year obviously isn't over yet, but I've got to have my Top 10 done before tomorrow, cause that's the deadline for our December issue... I think this will be my list...

1. Brian Wilson - That Lucky Old Sun
2. Babybird - Between My Ears There's Nothing But Music
3. Bayside - Shudder
4. Dennis Wilson - Pacific Ocean Blue (30th Anniversary Edition)
5. Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes
6. No Use For A Name - The Feel Good Record Of The Year
7. Brat Pack - Hate The Neighbours
8. H2O - Nothing To Prove
9. Get Well Soon - Rest Now, Weary Head! You Will Get Well Soon
10. Boeijen Hofstede Vrienten - Aardige Jongens

But I might change #10 to either Manana - Interruptions or Novastar - Almost Bangor.

4. Paul Weller - 22 Dreams
5. Sharleen Spiteri - Melody
6. Coldplay - Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends
7. Travis - Ode To J. Smith
8. Madonna - Hard Candy
9. Yazoo - You And Me Both (2008 Remaster)
10. Blancmange - Happy Families (2008 Remaster)

The last two CD's show my age some 80's nostalgia

I think the only CD from 2008 that I've bought this year was Viva La Vida, oh wait I loved Amy Winehouse's Back to Black but I think that was released in 2007.

What about AC/DC's new one????  Critics say it's as good as "Back In Black"...............

I've heard about that.  I'm actually thinking about getting it for my sister for Christmas...I think I've found something better though :)

I hate AC/DC... I don't understand how people can stand that guy's voice...

It's just screaming head-banging, that's all.  That's what we listened to in high school in the early 1980's.

Oh, I listen to a lot of heavy music that has screaming in it, that's not the problem... But he just sounds like Donald Duck with a sore throat...
