Free CD collects some of the Beatles' best music influences in one spot
Magazines with the Beatles' pictures on the cover usually manage to get our attention. (OK, make that always.) A lot of the time, we'll buy them. But the March issue of Uncut, now on newsstands in the U.S., is one you may want to get for the CD, if nothing else. The CD, called "Sounds of the Star-Club," with a well designed cover that resembles many of the legitimately released Star Club compilations, collects 16 original versions of songs covered by the Beatles.
