The whole knighting thing is strange.  I don't get it.  Ooh, he's a Sir, what does that get him? Parking privleges? His own castle? One of those fuzzy hats?

Paul  was knighted for his service to music. He dedicated his knighthood to fellow ex-Beatles, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, and the late John Lennon.  I don't really understand what it takes to be knighted, but that is what I found through the internet.  I think that it was very nice of him to dedicate it to the rest of the ex-beatles and not take all of the credit for himself.  One question though, what about Denny?  Wouldn't 'his service to music' have to also include Wings stuff as well?  Ok, that was two questions, but still.
