I've just booked my ticket to see The Bootleg Beatles at the Newcastle City Hall..woo!
GOOD!
Bootleg Beatles are the only tribue I've seen but they really are fantastic. I've seen them twice now - last time I saw them was the 8th dec (anniversary of john lennon's death) so the bootleg lennon played imagine as a tribute at the end- it was so beautiful I gotta admit I was crying slightly. Theyre really funny too with all their 'in' jokes and that. And they interact really well with the audience- me and my friends were going crazy and they smiled waved, winked and did funny dances for us. The bootleg George is easily the best lookalike. In fact I read an article somewhere about when he met the real George Harrison, and George said ' well, you've got my eyes!' and they got on really well. Basically, everyone should see them theyre amazing. I think they were the support band for an oasis tour a while back (not suprisingingly)
Theyre going to glastonbury festival this year which I'm gonna try to get tickets for because I love glastonbury
last time the bootlegs played there I am ashamed to say I wasn't yet a fan
I just remember LOADS of people leaving the stage grinning insanely and sining 'hey jude' and I wondered what it was all about!
