A man on a flaming pie said you are now the Beatles with an A and you are. "Thank you Mister Man," said the boys.

Awwww thnx Sie, I appreciate that, but these other bands are the ones doing it day in, day out....We're like part-time although the soul of it is full-time i'd like to think.
We ain't actively seeking out gigs, especially as we're stranded on an Island. lol
When we get a run of some well paid gigs, I'm sure we'll do something and then we can post some stuff up for all to compare. ;)

No, you're right - I have seen this band 5 or 6 times and I think the latest they go up to is 1966. I think they only do the concert years.

The Beats

I couldn't agree more!!!!! They're The Best!!!!! And...they're coming soon to S. Rosa (where I live).  ;)

I've seen quite a lot Tribute Bands, and they're just perfect!!!! "Close your eyes and listen to The Beatles, open your eyes and see them", that was the review about them in a festival in Liverpool!!!!

Here's the website: http://www.thebeatsonline.com ...enjoy it!!!

Cheers!!!

The best tribute bands i've seen are the Bootleg Beatles & the Fab 4
a number of times. Saw the bootlegs a couple of weeks back at the
Assembley Rooms in Derby & they did a great version of the medly
from Abbey Road.
I voted the fab 4 as they have a great sound!

GOOD!

Bootleg Beatles are the only tribue I've seen but they really are fantastic. I've seen them twice now - last time I saw them was the 8th dec (anniversary of john lennon's death) so the bootleg lennon played imagine as a tribute at the end- it was so beautiful I gotta admit I was crying slightly. Theyre really funny too with all their 'in' jokes and that. And they interact really well with the audience- me and my friends were going crazy and they smiled waved, winked and did funny dances for us. The bootleg George is easily the best lookalike. In fact I read an article somewhere about when he met the real George Harrison, and George said ' well, you've got my eyes!' and they got on really well. Basically, everyone should see them theyre amazing. I think they were the support band for an oasis tour a while back (not suprisingingly)

Theyre going to glastonbury festival this year which I'm gonna try to get tickets for because I love glastonbury :) last time the bootlegs played there I am ashamed to say I wasn't yet a fan :( I just remember LOADS of people leaving the stage grinning insanely and sining 'hey jude' and I wondered what it was all about!
