Hi, I want to buy the Beatles Complete Score. I've checked amazon.com and the paperback Hal Leonard version (June 1, 1993) is $55.96 with free shipping. But I want the hardcover edition. It is also on the site, but the January 1993 Hardcover is a special order that takes 2-3 weeks. It's only $24.95 too. I'm willing to wait, but it seems that this is the earliest edition, why is it so cheap and is there a better version?
Then there's the New Beatles Complete Score, which is out of stock, as well as the New Beatles Complete Score, 1962-70, which is also out of stock and hardcover as well.
So what's the deal? Should I wait for those editions to be in stock, buy the cheaper hardcover original and wait 3 weeks, or just get the $56 paperback version?
Any help would be appreciated.

get the paperback version. I can hardly wait to get any Beatles item. To wait three weeks is a bit too much for me. Id' go for the paperback version if I were you.

I bought that copy off amazon for 56 dollars, 1 let me say it is very worth it, and it comes in a hardback cover, but the book itself is paperback.
I would encourage musicains to purchase it.

It's a must. Without BEatles Complete, I can't imagine The Apple Beatles ever forming! lol
