The Beatles’s connections with Bournemouth are explored in a new book Yeah Yeah Yeah

In their whirlwind, jet-set lifestyle The Beatles played Hamburg, New York, Paris and  Bournemouth. Arts Editor Catherine Jones reports on their lesser-known triumphsTHEY played endless dates in the clubs of Hamburg, and a well-documented 292 times at the Cavern. But it turns out that, outside London and Paris, the Beatles’ most regular theatre dates were in Bournemouth.
In the apocryphal words of Michael Caine, not a lot of people know that.
