Let It Be
« on: April 21, 2005, 02:17:26 AM »

I just wanted to know more about the "Let It Be" album.
About the songs on there, how are they? Is it a good album?
Because there's one song one there that I love, but I don't know anything about the rest, other then "Let It Be" and "The Long and Winding Road"

Opinions?

I think this is a great album.  It's my personal favorite.  Lately I find myself listening to in everyday.  Their is not one song on the album that I dislike or skip.  My favorite songs are I've got a feeling and one after 909.  After that everyother song comes close.  I also love the Don't let me down version on Let it be.....Naked.  Well from what I said you can see it is a great album and I'm very fond of it.

"I've Got A Feeling" is one of my favorites off of Let it Be. Along with the other songs mentioned, except "The Long and Winding Road"

Naah. The Let It Be version on the album has a sucky solo, that makes it worse than the real one. Get Back sounds horrible

I MUCH prefer Goerge's solo over the organ solo on the single. I'm not a big GET Back person, but the album (live) version is stronger in my opinion also.

This Lp allways left me waiting for that "next" big song that never occured! With the Let It Be song being so good I was waiting for more like it which never happened on this LP!

It's a really good album and definately worth it.

Some of my favorite songs are on that album, such as Get Back and Across the Universe. Other songs I like and feel that are underrated include Two Of Us, I've Got a Feeling and Dig A Pony. I don't really like Maggie Mae or One After 909, but the rest of the songs surely make up for it.

I noticed that the line-up seems to be better on LIBN.  Two of Us, for example, ain't the best opener for LIB, as Get Back is much better for it.  And closing with Let It Be is better than sticking it between Dig It and Maggie Mae.

My views have been made known before. They should have left it alone. Why try to change history.
