Title: "Pre Fab": The Almost-Beatle (Colin Hanton)

This film looks interesting. From what I've read, there is only one premiere, this Friday in Orlando. (Darn, if I'd only known, I could have arranged a visit with my dad.  ;D  ) The producer is looking for a distribution deal. I hope he gets one.

I hadn't realized Colin Hanton had authored a book, by the same name. I know very little about him.

I think by now anyone who knew the Beatles for more than five minutes has written a book. With the noble exception of Jane Asher. I’m not surprised the Quarrymen members also stake their claim.

And, apparently, Ivan Vaughan. I'm rather surprised he didn't pen a book given that, as you said, Moogmodule, almost everyone else has.

I see that Vaughan, like Nicky Hopkins, also died tragically young, at 51, of pneumonia. He'd been diagnosed with Parkison's in 1977. And apparently, per Wikipedia, it was his wife who helped Paul with the French lyrics in "Michelle."
