Ringo on Jimmy Fallon tonight, Jan. 12
If any of you are up and get to see it or record it, Ringo Starr is on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC, tonight.
-
^I really want to see it! ;D He's the only guest, which means a whole hour of Ringo!
-
I'm watching it RIGHT NOW. ;D Sooo happy.
-
Lucky! I have to wait another hour! :P Where are you at again? Arizona?
-
Yep! Which means that everything comes on earlier for me because everything is always in central or pacific time.
He did great, as always! It's in the last five minutes now.
-
^You are lucky, I can't wait much longer. ugh! I saw some clips on NBC.com and it looks really funny! When he answers that little girls question! It was so cute! ;D I'm on Pacific time, so yeah it seems like everyone sees things before me.
-
Lol I do love that perk of living here - it's about the only one though! :D And yes, the little girl was freaking ADORABLE! Ringo was cuter though which is funny considering he's sixty-nine. It's all those peace signs he throws up, I think. XD
-
^LOL! yeah I know, when he said "My favorite part was the skiing part." I laughed so hard, he sounded so cute! And yes he was cuter than her! "I'm six too!" lol man his jokes are great! How many songs does he perform?
-
Hehe, the bit where Ringo talks about the skiing scene (complete with a bit of a practical demonstration :D ) and the bit with "I'm six" were also my favourites from those NBC clips :)
Yay for you guys with an NBC channel, hehe ;D
-
Well, Ringo sure is a happy positive person.
I don't really like how he's a walking ad though. Every answer was the purpose of promoting something.
Hey newsflash Ringo, you don't have to do that anymore!
That got annoying, because you really want to hear Ringo's true thoughts.
On a positive note he was upbeat, and his performances of the songs were good.
He still looks and sounds great!

I dunno about that, I only remember him plugging Y Not once, and I thought it was funny because even he knew it was a shameless plug so he just grinned about it.
I could have just not been paying attention, but I don't remember any other answers that were promoting something.

I don't remember that either. :P

I thought it was a tough interview. Fallon was all over the place with his questioning and Ringo sure didnt help him either. Ritchie kind of came across as a grumpy, old bastard to me and I hate to say that as I love Ringo. Oh well.
-
I dunno if I'd say grumpy, though he did seem to start getting annoyed when ALL the questions were about the Beatles. I can't say I blame him.
-
What did you expect the questions to be about? Nobody gives a sh*t about his solo career except for us diehard fanatics.
-
I really liked the interview. You could tell Jimmy Fallon is a real Beatles fan. He wass like an excited teenager meeting their idol.
