Awww! :) I can just imagine George's train of thought here 'Oh, dang, that was a long time ago' or 'I remember this!' etc.

The word 'Bittersweet' was coined for videos just like that one.
I don't even know what to write... I think if you can see me right now, it would explain it all. :)

JimmyMcCullochFan, you made my whole evening. Wow, what a great clip! I love George's comments. First one, naturally, is about his guitar. Then the laughing at his and his mates' expressions. It reminds me of Dick Lester talking about the Beatles watching themselves onscreen for "Hard Day's Night", when they were dying of embarrassment over seeing themselves on the screen. George's laughter reminded me of someone watching old home movies: "How silly we were back then."
Just adorable. Thanks a million for posting.

Funny that he started laughing as soon as he saw Paul's babyface.
-
^ Yeah, I know, why is he laughing at Paul?? ;D
I love George's reactions. It is really weird to revisit such a younger version of yourself and your mates. George might not have had the fondest feelings about his Beatle days, but I'm sure he did have a lot of happy memories with the boys.
What film is this from?

My goodness! That's so cute. I love when George starts singing along quietly.
I'm all smiley now.

Jimmy, it`s so nice! Baby-Paul, blind-John, cute-George...but the most precious thing is to see how George reacts to the video, he is so happy! :)
-
I think it was funny. It was only 12 years ago, but I too found myself thinking that seems like forever ago. And I wasn't even born!
He was so happy. Sometimes I get the feeling that people paint George as this emtoionless man who tried to seperate himself from The Beatles, this totally shows how much he enjoyed it...when it was over that is. And he can look back on it.

George was a complicated man. I'm sure his feelings about his mates and the Beatle days are all mixed up, but he certainly had a fond spot for it. Who was it who went to visit George one time, and they ended up trying on his old Beatles costumes that he still had in his closet? Great story.

I think it's the way Paul shifted his gaze this way and that-- not sure what camera to look into. It probably brought back all those memories of rushing from studio to studio, with whatever crazy setup and trying to get it to work, and get good sound out of it (for the live performances). I saw it as a very fond chuckle.

does anyone know what it's from or if there's more of it out there in YouTube land?

You could see George enjoying it as he started to sing his part for a moment. Great footage... thanks for sharing.
