Yup, that's me! That's my ex on the altar with his hands on his hips. We ended up saying our vows as I reclined on a couch in a nun's office in the back of the church. At the time I was sooo embarrassed, then years later it seemed funny, and now that I've petitioned for an annulment it seems sad.

My daughter is fine; thanks for asking! Somebody gave me a small bottle of juice, and one of the priests ran back and got her some donut holes (which she refused because she doesn't like blueberries -- sheesh! I was like, "Just eat!!").

That's the last time I let her skip breakfast, that's for sure!

Here's another picture of when I was young. Me and my 2 brothers and oldest sister. Damn the 80's. Hard to believe that I thought that style was cool at the time. At least I had a cool shirt on.

I'm glad that's all it was. Just remind her that it's the most important meal of the day. Kids love to hear stuff like that from us!

Looking good Dave! I am so envious of your lilacs! They are my favorite flower but I've had bad luck with growing them. When I was growing up we had a tree that was really old and huge like yours. Whenever I smell them I'm instantly transported back to that time.

Our next-door neighbors when I was growing up had a beautiful lilac tree that hung over into part of our yard. The smell was heavenly, and the lilacs were so beautiful.

Yes that's Greta Bear! The smell is amazing right now! I go out at early and put out the bird feeders and feed the chickens and the smell at dawn is floating all over. I have to bring in the feeders because the bears are visiting again! They've knocked over the feeders twice this season but they must have developed some manners as they haven't torn the feeders apart, just rolled them around to get the seed! I'm not tempting fate!
You two will have to visit someday!

My daughter Abbey (yep, named after our favourite road lol) is 11 and on a school trip in Canberra this week.

Yesterday they went to Mt Kosciosko National Park where the Alpine snowfields are and she saw and felt snow for the first time!

Hey cheers guys. She got home late last night, exhausted. Loved the snow. I've travelled through snow in Montana and it was pretty cool. One day I will take the kids back to the U.S.
