Didn't see this before now. It is a nice thing to consider. I'll go with seven tracks per side likewise...

Liner notes:

What a difficult exercise. I have always leaned a bit towards RS as a personal fave. There are more tracks there that I crave hearing more than on the other. Both represent their best work, IMO.

This is a 'personal choice' album. If it were programmed for the masses I'd say Ringo would have to be represented, so let's say 'Yellow Submarine' in place of 'For No One'.

'Taxman' is such a classic opener. Conversely, how could 'Tomorrow Never Knows' not be the closer?

Again, not an easy tasks leaving out so many great ones. So, looks like a follow-up album is in order, mucho pronto.

Rubber Soul and Revolver are pretty much my favorite Beatles albums, so this was hard. I hate not including 'Michelle', 'Girl', 'She Said She Said', 'And Your Bird Can Sing' and 'Got To Get You Into My Life'.
