Mind Games vs. Walls and Bridges

Walls and Bridges. Half of Mind Games was drivel.....the only weak spots on Walls and Bridges were Beef Jerky and Ya Ya.

I voted Mind Games. I don't believe that half of MG was "drivel." I happen to love that "drivel" in any case, especially things like the title track, Tight A$, Out the Blue, Meat City, Intuition, Bring on Da Lucie, I Know, and so forth. I think the remastered/remixed MG adds a lot of resonance to the quality of the album. It is very underrated and sometimes cooly dismissed. I enjoy it very much. I think he sounded pretty positive in many of the tracks as well.

I LOVE W&B as well, but I just think the quality of MG- I'm speaking specifically about the remastered one here- just moves me more. I also think there are so many beautiful songs on there, and I kind of get his "mood" in these songs very much.

But when W&B is remastered I will probably change my mind, since it was the John album I loved almost instantly after first hearing. God, "Old Dirt Road" is SOOOOO purty.

Yoko sure takes her time with the reissues though.......I definitely would like to hear a Walls and Bridges remastering as the production seems a bit weak at times.

I chose Mind Games. The only song I really like off of Walls and Bridges is #9 Dream.

Well, we just heard it from the man himself, so I guess I was wrong.
