God, that's a tough call.  A lot of those frat guys didn't like the Beatles since they were far more into drinking and being jocks.  The Beatles were far too effeminate for a lot of those puddin' heads.  In time they came around, but not 1964.

They seemed to be into a lot of R and B! Or is it motown? I don't know. What's that song they play at the party when they go 'A little bit louder now..." ?

Yeah, rowdy party songs was what they seemed to be into more than, say, pop.
