I was with my wife before, during and after the birth. It was a fantastic experience! All was good except that it was pitiful to see how my wife was suffering :) But now she's well. They are well!

It's the most quickly forgotten pain. It's good for a mom to keep it in her memory though, so she can bring it up when the kids are older and acting rotten. ;)

Maybe for mothers it is. Although I didn't feel the pain myself, it is still painful to remember it eleven years later.
