Which one did you watch: the original or the remake? (And wasn't there a third remake lately?)  I love that movie.
It was the 2011 remake. it was different enough that it wasn't like you'd seen it before besides the Antartic ice world setting and the running around inside the buildings. Lots of scary monster stuff and some really gross scenes. Lot's of new stuff.
I liked it! My wife was on the couch with the throw blanket up to her eyes ready to hide so I'd say she was scared! Lol!

We have a station here called MeTV and they play all the old shows. Gunsmoke is on every day and I watch many of them. A really good show. Nothing today comes close to these old shows.

I love that channel! It's great to be able to watch "Mary Tyler Moore" and "Bob Newhart" again, like I used to with my parents every Saturday night. "Dick van Dyke" is another one I really like. If they would just put "My Three Sons", "The Honeymooers" and "The Odd Couple" on I'd be really happy.

I watched them with my folks too. It brings back some good memories. Daniel Boone, The Rifleman, The Rebel, Rt. 66, they seem to have them all.

They ran My Three Sons here not too long ago. It was a good show!

I'd love to see that again, from the very beginning with Tim Considine, (the eldest son who went off to college and never returned, just like Chuck on Happy Days LOL) and William Frawley. TV Land had those episodes back when the network first premiered. Now they seem to have forgotten what classic TV really means.

I saw a few of them and he was in them. Honestly, I don't remember him fading away but one I got a kick out of was when Chip dyed his hair green and the contraversial on when his band played nude (behind the guitars).

Lili

Hi-Lili, Hi Lo - Leslie Caron - 1953 (The video's owner prevents external embedding)

A touching story of a naïve French girl whose emotional relationship with a carnival puppeteer is conducted through the medium of four puppets.  It's the first movie I remember seeing.  It's a great movie for children.  Adults will appreciate the movie on a different plane.  It's brilliant how that was done.

I though Leslie was great as the oposition in Father Goose. One of my old favorites!

Leslie Caron is one of my favorite actresses.  She's cute (yes, she still is!) and could act, sing and dance.  She did a fine job acting in Father Goose along with Cary Grant.  She was fun to watch in Gigi too...

I wish thet didn't dub her voice.  Her voice was so sweet...

I wondered how that movie would be. I found the book incredibly boring! We read it for our mother/daughter book club years ago. Well we were supposed to read it but I made up my mind that I had better things to do with my time. I just faked my way through the meeting and so did my daughter. LOL

The Avengers. Loud, fast and pretty good. I liked the dino-alien swimming things. I think NYC has taken more beatings than Tokyo!

I like Scarlett Johansson when she's feisty like that. Too wimpy in 'Hitchcock' - though I enjoyed that one recently.

30+ hours sleepless, now I'm ready for 'Django Unchained.' Wake me when the popcorn's gone.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

'Harold and Kumar 3d Christmas'

Yeah, it was awful. Just thought I would add that. Carry on.
