Think about it. Beatles and Trek fans both collect memorabilia. We both have a favorite Beatle/Trek character. Both sometimes dress up as our favorite Beatle/Trek character. We both write fan fictions. We both are preoccupied with a defunct '60s phenomenom. We both seem odd to non-fans.

The only difference is that Beatles fans tend to be a lot less geeky. (sorry to any Trekkies on this board)

Now that's scarey. I can't equate being a Beatle fan with those Trekkies that wear the Spock ears or dress like Klingons. Some folks do go overboard and all I can say is 'get a life.'

There are about four major Beatle conventions each year, one in Chicago and the other is in Los Angeles and maybe one other on the east coast in like New York or Philly. these are in addition to the one in Louisvlle KY this year. This one has been held in Cleveland in the past. So there are conventions, you might have to drive a little thats all.

Noooooo not trekkies... i cant stand star trek lol .. well the 60's star trek was watchable... but im a STAR WARS FANATIC lol ..

and yeah they have a beatle convention late august in liverpool .. which i wouldnt mind going to this year .. maybe Apps can drive up there .. what ya think Apps ? or even better would could play up there as well
