mary hopkin released it,didn't she?paul produced.so it did get released,just not sung by paul.

I never liked it very well to be honest. Might have been a good call on Pauls part.

Paul sung the Song in 1969 an give away for Mary you can Heard a version many Boots .

mary hopkin released it,didn't she?paul produced.so it did get released,just not sung by paul.


It's a sweet song for sure, but Paul wrote it for Mary Hopkin to record in early 1969.  It charted well here in the United States and even better in the UK.

Yeah, I have to agree, Paul's demo is better than her actual version, imo.  And lets be honest, the best part of that video is watching Paul coach her through it lol!

I like Paul's demo very much too, but this was a terrific follow-up hit after her debut single Those Were The Days.

Yeah, Paul was fun to watch in the video!

I think it's a good song, but best for Mary Hopkins. But it definitely sounds like Paul. I've played this for people before and not told them anything about it, and they've asked me if McCartney wrote it.
