Did Yoko remarry?
« on: April 03, 2005, 01:29:25 PM »

I've heard she remarried someone the year after John died.

So anyone know?

Never mind, here's what I found:

http://www.instantkarma.com/guestviewjune98.html

" As for Sam Havadtoy, he was friends with the Lennons prior to 1980. He came to the Dakota to help Yoko and Sean in the wake of John's shooting and has been with them ever since. Yoko has talked about him in earlier interviews and he has most often been mentioned as her "constant companion" in articles about Yoko. When Albert Goldman was writing his tome on John, he claimed he had proof that Sam and Yoko were married, but never produced that proof. Yoko said she had not remarried.

Sean would very naturally think of Sam as a step-dad because he's been a big part of his life since 1981. Despite the fact that Sam is close to Yoko and Sean, he is a private citizen working in the fields of art, antiques and interior design and does not seek the spotlight. Therefore, people don't hear from him or about him very often.) "

I don't think she did -- yeh never know, anyhow. She still uses "Yoko Ono Lennon" on a lot of John's stuff she releases.

Weird, she didn't use the Lennon [publicly, anyway] much while he was alive, did she?

The IMDB is the Internet Movie Database and is located at http://www.imdb.com/search it is probablly my favorite website so check it out as you can find info on almost any movie, tv show, dvd or video.  I never knew she remarried after John either I am totally suprised.

imdb.com is notorious for posting incorrect information.
Don't take what they say as truth.
I believe anyone can email them 'info' and they will post it.

Yoko didn't remarry.  But maybe she's thinking about it...

I think you'd have to be pretty big for Yoko to marry you.  Maybe Paul?

I think she wants people to see her as John's widow (forever).

nimrod:  That would have been big news if she had married Havatoy.  They couldn't have kept that a secret.  I don't know what the point of marriage would be for her anyway.  Why marry anyone when you can just be friends with benefits?  She's rich enough that she doesn't need to marry anyone for money either.  She's John's wife forever, I guess.
