Title: Ringo's Hair Salon
Post by: MrMustard11 on April 10, 2005, 05:11:35 AM
"Fully convinced the fame of the Beatles would be short-lived, he sent large amounts of money to his aunt to deposit in a bank account while he was on tour with the band. His intention was to start a hair dressing salon once the Beatles faded from public memory."

I seem to remember in the documentary "The Compleat Beatles" (which is excellent BTW and I highly reccomend Beatles fans to watch it.) that they had footage of Ringo walking through a hair salon.  I always thought the footage was from "A Hard Day's Night." but I know that's wrong.  Maybe it was just a bit filmed after the interview he gave where he said he wanted to own a hair salon.

Well I would pay good money for Ringo to cut my hair.
